BRCWRT member Andrea Loewenwarter is the
Historic Resources Specialist at Historic Blenheim in
Fairfax. Since Covid restrictions prevented her
from putting on her annual Civil War Christmas in Camp,
she created this Christmas program of Civil War era
Christmas writings read by living historians.
(BRCWRT members composed four of the eight
readers). The writings provide a somber reminder
of the hardships endured by the soldiers, their families
and enslaved people during this holiday. Please
